Troubles are mounting for SilverStar Brewing Company as the business faces tens of thousands of dollars in debt and a lawsuit following a suspicious kitchen fire earlier this year.
According to a Supreme Court certificate filed on July 2 and sealed on July 14, SilverStar Brewing, owned by Jaswal Pardeep Singh, has defaulted on $65,401.05 in owed taxes, penalties, interest, and levies.
At the same time, Singh and the brewery are facing a small claims lawsuit from North Valley Heat and Cool Services and its owner, Robert Deleurme.
“SilverStar Brewing is now for sale, making me file a notice of claim with hope of being rightfully paid for the quality services,” Deleurme wrote in the claim.
