(Bloomberg) -- Economists continue to expect the Federal Reserve's next move will be an interest-rate cut even as financial markets price in higher borrowing costs by the end of the year. Most Read from BloombergForecasters in a Bloomberg survey see the US central bank cutting its benchmark rate by 25 basis points in the third quarter of 2027. While that's a quarter later than in last month's survey, it contrasts with views from policymakers and investors who have suggested rate hikes may be on the horizon.
