Sainsbury's has confirmed that it will open its Omagh store in NovemberSainsbury’s has confirmed that it will open a new store in Omagh’s Great Northern Retail Park this November in a £14 million investment which will bring around 140 jobs. Sainsbury’s says the store will bring its popular range of value high quality food to Omagh. Christian Wakelin, head of supermarket development at Sainsbury’s, said: “We’re excited to be ploughing ahead with our plans to open our 13th store in Northern Ireland and bring Sainsbury’s to Omagh for the very first time. “We are creating 140 jobs for local people and completely revitalising two units in the Great Northern Retail Park in the process. “We know there is real enthusiasm for a Sainsbury’s store in Omagh, and we will share updates as work progresses and we move closer to opening.”
