SINGAPORE – Vietnam's famed chocolate brand Maison Marou has opened its first international outpost with a retail boutique at Singapore Changi Airport's Terminal 1 Departure Hall. Prices start at $5.30 for a mini 24g bar, from $14.70 for a standard 80g single-origin bar, and from $17.20 for a box of its popular tropical fruits – mango, pineapple and passion fruit – enrobed in 65 per cent dark chocolate. Another trio of creations ($25 each for a 100g box) are the 65 per cent dark chocolate-coated dried guava; spicy 65 per cent dark chocolate with caramelised peanut and chilli ginger nougat; and 48 per cent milk chocolate with pandan coconut, guava, cashew and raisin.
