Smoke from Slievenamon is travelling further afield due to the change in wind. Members of the public are asked to exercise caution, particularly those with respiratory conditions, and to follow any advice issued by emergency services. Smoke has also been reported in parts of South Kilkenny and other parts of South Tipperary. Waterford City and County Fire Service confirmed this smoke is from Slievenamon and not a separate blaze. People with underlying respiratory conditions are advised to take extra precautions during this time, with information available via the HSE.
