Collective Soul is transitioning its latest studio effort into a widespread commercial release.
Previously, the album could only be obtained on 180-gram colored vinyl at participating brick-and-mortar independent retailers.
For this project, the ensemble integrated vintage synthesizers and rhythmic pop arrangements heavily influenced by late 1970s and early 1980s new wave pioneers.
Beyond the studio sessions for “Touch and Go,” the band recently completed a performance residency in Las Vegas and is currently promoting a career-spanning biographical documentary titled “Give Me A Word: The Collective Soul Story.”
Parts of that cinematic project were captured at the historic Palm Springs estate of Elvis Presley, where Collective Soul also tracked their previous double album, “Here to Eternity.”
