Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – One of Puerto Vallarta’s longest-running traditions returns this weekend as thousands of families gather in Las Palmas for the annual Paseada.
The Las Palmas Delegation, located about 20 minutes from Puerto Vallarta, is preparing to welcome more than 10,000 visitors on Sunday, July 26, for the traditional Paseada de las Palmas.
The gathering was intended to bring local families together to share a picnic, enjoy each other’s company, and strengthen community ties.
For generations, Las Palmas has been known for livestock farming and agriculture, making horseback riding and charro traditions an important part of the community’s identity.
Municipal authorities have been working closely with the 41st Military Zone, the Las Palmas Ejido, and local organizers to ensure the celebration is both safe and enjoyable.
