PCM baseball players Coby DeRaad and Roston McCarty have earned Class 2A All District honors from the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association. McCarty and DeRaad both earned second team honors in the Central District with McCarty being selected as a pitcher and DeRaad being selected as a catcher. In his senior season, DeRaad batted .373 with a .448 on base percentage recording 31 hits and 16 RBI. McCarty finished his junior year with a 7-3 record and a 1.71 ERA in 65 ⅓ innings of work recording 77 strikeouts and an opponent batting average of .191. The Mustang baseball team finished with 19 wins and made their substate final.
