Sony Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for The Social Reckoning, writer-director Aaron Sorkin’s follow-up to the Oscar-winning 2010 film The Social Network. The trailer introduces Strong as an older, embattled Zuckerberg preparing for congressional scrutiny while defending his company amid mounting criticism. Oscar winner Mikey Madison portrays Haugen, the former Facebook engineer who leaked internal documents in 2021, while Jeremy Allen White plays Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horwitz, whose reporting brought many of the revelations to light. Sorkin, who won an Academy Award for writing The Social Network, returns as both screenwriter and director. The Social Reckoning is scheduled to open in theaters on Oct. 9; see the trailer: HERE.
