With Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury in action this weekend it has been speculated that an announcement regarding the all-British superfight will be made should both win as expected.
However, according to Sky Sports, Brent Council in London is yet to be contacted regarding an extension to the stadium’s existing 11pm curfew with view to the proposed November showdown.
The local council is part of the stadium's safety advisory group and would need to review and approve any request to bend existing rules.
BoxingScene understands that the contract Joshua, 29-4 (26 KOs), has signed stipulates that the fight must land in the UK.
"We are both from there, and it would be good for the fans that have been supporting us since our debuts.
