UN Human Rights Chief To Conduct Official Visit To Lebanon 26-27 July 2026GENEVA (23 July 2026) – UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk will conduct an official visit to Lebanon on 26-27 July 2026. The UN Human Rights Chief is scheduled to meet with the President and Prime Minister of Lebanon, as well as the President of the Lebanese National Assembly and ministers. He will also meet with representatives of national human rights mechanisms, civil society organizations, the diplomatic community, and members of the United Nations team in the country.
