After reportedly drawing interest from a handful of European teams this offseason, free agent swingman Tyrese Martin has formally agreed to a one-year contract with Barcelona, the Spanish club announced in a press release. The 51st overall pick in the 2022 draft, Martin has appeared in a total of 122 NBA regular season games for Atlanta, Brooklyn, and Philadelphia, averaging 6.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 17.7 minutes per contest. The 27-year-old struggled to replicate that success this past season, as his shooting line dipped to .394/.321/.679 and his playing time declined. Barcelona posted solid regular season records in the EuroLeague (21-17) and Liga ACB (24-10) in 2025/26 and advanced to the finals in Spain’s top league. Martin is the second NBA veteran to sign with Barcelona this month, joining Stanley Umude.
