After a 39-year-old man was shot and killed inside a Put-in-Bay bar early on Thursday morning, one individual is being held. According to a Put-in-Bay authorities media release, authorities and first responders were called to Mr. Ed’s Bar & Grille just after midnight, where they discovered the man with several gunshot wounds. 21 year old Colton Smith, of Brownstone, Michigan, was taken into custody by Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office deputies. He is accused of murder with a firearm specification. Citing the seriousness of the allegations, a firearm specification, a 2023 assault conviction in Wayne County, the state requested a $1 million bond with 10% permitted.
