After a $7 million upgrade last year, Granby Train Depot is the first place to complete an art installation. The new mural at the Granby Train Depot replaces an existing mural and was created by Denver artist Thomas E. Lockhart III . The mural also includes depictions of the famous Granby lettuce, once sold at Denver’s Brown Palace Hotel, along with maps of Lake Granby and the town, historic vehicles and gas stations, and the Granby town sign. His work can be viewed at LockhartGallery.comThe Granby Public Art Committee and the Town of Granby are working with the state on additional artwork for the train station and the entrance to Granby Trails. The public is invited to visit the Granby Train Depot to view the mural.
