The UAE has kept its place as the world’s most powerful passport in the 2026 Passport Index published by Arton Capital. The Emirati passport recorded an overall mobility score of 182. The Passport Index measures a country’s Global Mobility Score. When countries have the same mobility score and visa access profile, the ranking is decided using the United Nations Development Programme’s Human Development Index. This gives each passport a unique global position based on mobility and national development indicators.
