SALFORD supporters have been handed a second boost in quick succession by captain and player-assistant coach Brad Dwyer’s decision to commit for next season. The latter is keen to carry on nurturing Salford’s younger players and explained: “I have been really enjoying my time in this new role and also proud of what the club are creating. It puts a lot of onus on me having to deliver what we have spoken about to the lads in training. “I have felt a bit protective over the younger players, which has probably resulted in me getting sinbinned sometimes, which hasn’t normally been what I am like. “I have seen a lot of growth within the club right from the start and the feeling in and around the place is great.”
