MIDLANDS HURRICANES recruit Liam Sutcliffe is ready to use his experience to help Mark Dunning’s side reach the Championship play-offs – and make an impact. The versatile former Leeds Rhinos and Hull FC back has signed for the rest of this season after leaving Huddersfield Giants, where he has had two injury-hit campaigns. Dunning, who has guided his charges to ten wins and a draw from 18 league outings so far, added: “I’m delighted to welcome Liam to the club. I’m sure our fans will be delighted and excited to see him in a Hurricanes shirt. “After finding out he had left Huddersfield, we had to act quickly to ensure we got our man and that is what we did.”
