Taking effect on July 1, the Convocation Center team transitioned under the Division of Student Affairs. The Division of Student Affairs has aimed to enhance students’ university experience by providing campus events as well as support services. Student Affairs also overlooks housing. While the Convocation Center will no longer report to Intercollegiate Athletics, the email states that Student Affairs aims to maintain a close relationship and continue working with the athletics division. As of the notice, no immediate changes to Convocation Center responsibilities have been made.
