Once dismissed as a value television brand, Hisense has quietly transformed itself into one of Australia’s fastest-growing consumer electronics and appliance businesses. It is perhaps the clearest explanation yet of why brands such as Hisense, TCL and Haier continue to gain ground. Industry observers believe Hisense has been taking share from Panasonic, Sharp, Electrolux, Westinghouse, Samsung and LG across several appliance categories.
