A 16-year-old girl was hospitalized Wednesday after she was injured while subway surfing in Queens, according to the NYPD. A bystander video posted to social media appears to show the girl lying on her stomach on top of the train car as passengers gather around her. Firefighters and police eventually load her onto a stretcher and gently lower it down. EMS workers took the girl to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition. In May, one teenager was killed and another critically injured after falling from a J train while subway surfing across the Williamsburg Bridge.
