Christmas is getting a strange new makeover this year, and honestly, it looks like it could be a lot of fun. Paramount Pictures has dropped the first trailer for Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol, director Ti West's twisted, dark comedy-inspired spin on Charles Dickens' timeless holiday classic. The movie leans into the supernatural side of A Christmas Carol while mixing in plenty of humor and a larger-than-life holiday spectacle filled with ghosts, eerie Victorian atmosphere, and one especially grouchy Ebenezer Scrooge. It doesn't look like West is trying to reinvent A Christmas Carol as pure horror. Paramount Pictures will release Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol exclusively in theaters on November 13, 2026.
