Article contentThe Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) said $8.9 million will go to the seven local firms to assist in projects that are valued at $28.1 million. “I’m thrilled to support the 23 Waterloo and Brant region businesses that are driving growth, innovation, opportunity, and resilience in our communities,” said Evan Solomon, the minister responsible for the agency. The Brantford-Brant firms getting the boost include Koolatron, Massilly North America, SLACAN Industries, Walters Inc., Canada Steel Corporation, Cravo Equipment, and Fowler Metal Industries.
