Press Release – NZ Transport AgencyStrong winds are expected tomorrow (Saturday 25 July) which may impact travel across the Auckland Harbour Bridge. From 4am to 11am Saturday morning wind gusts of 75-85 km/h are forecast. From 11am to 10pm gusts may reach 90-100km/h. With the potential for sudden and high wind gusts, traffic control measures may be implemented on the bridge including the possibility of short closure periods. The moveable lane barrier will be operated as normal during this evening’s peak (Friday) and over the weekend.
