David Frederick Breitmeier, 68, of Riverton, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia. Born on July 12, 1958, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the son of the late George William and Evelyn (Reynolds) Breitmeier. On Feb. 16, 2015, David married Codie Nicole (Robertson) Breitmeier, who survives in Riverton. David also enjoyed playing the guitar in rock bands and story telling. David leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Codie Nicole Robertson Breitmeier; two daughters, Misty Mahfouz (Moda) of Wisconsin, and Amy Breitmeier of Summersville, West Virginia; a step-daughter, Jordyn Gibson of Riverton, West Virginia; a step-son, Robert Gibson of Riverton, West Virginia; two brothers, John Breitmeier of Hawaii, and Tom Breitmeier (Lisa) of Parkersburg, West Virginia; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
