ST. MARYS – One day after a storm system that dropped possibly two tornadoes into Pleasants County Tuesday afternoon, residents of Blue Devil country were doing what they always do – giving each other a helping hand. Social media posts from local residents show what appear to be funnel clouds in the area. According to Pleasants County 911, all unnecessary travel was being prohibited as of Wednesday afternoon. According to FirstEnergy’s Outage Tracker, 1,257 customers were without electric in Pleasants County as of Wednesday afternoon. Reed said despite the damage throughout the county, residents were working together to quickly clean up debris and assisting their neighbors in other ways, with no major injuries reported.
