A joint investigation between the Douglas-Coffee County Drug Unit and the Broxton Police Department resulted in the arrest of one individual on illegal drug distribution charges.
While watching the homes, officers saw Jason Donald Voorhees, 44, of Broxton, approach a parked vehicle at the Ricketson Street address.
Voorhees got out of the vehicle and officers saw a bag that contained suspected methamphetamine.
There were also digital scales and another bag of suspected methamphetamine in the car.
The amount of suspected methamphetamine they confiscated from the vehicle weighed 11.3 grams on non-certified scales, the report says.
