The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced Thursday that the Al-Abdali border crossing with Iraq came under attack by hostile drones, causing material damage but no human casualties. In a statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), ministry spokesperson Colonel Saud Al-Attwan said specialized teams immediately responded to the incident, securing the site in coordination with relevant authorities. Explosive ordnance disposal units from the Kuwaiti Army’s land forces conducted inspections, cleared debris from the drones, and ensured the area was safe in line with technical procedures. The ministry stressed that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces remain fully prepared and continue to perform their duties with high efficiency, maintaining constant readiness to safeguard the nation’s borders and preserve its security and stability.
