Lanchester Medical Centre in Lanchester, County Durham, was rated inadequate following an inspection in July last year. It was rated inadequate following the its first inspection since the service was registered with the CQC. CQC carried out this inspection to check if improvements had been made following an inspection last July. At this latest inspection, the practice had made some improvements and is no longer in breach of regulation regarding safe care and treatment. A spokesperson for NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board said: "We're pleased that the Care Quality Commission has recognised the progress the practice has made since its previous inspection.
