COLUMBUS, Ohio — OhioHealth is expanding access to advanced care for patients with kidney disease through the launch of its Kidney Transplant Program at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital. For many people living with advanced kidney disease, a kidney transplant can offer greater independence, increased energy and freedom from dialysis. The OhioHealth Kidney Transplant Program is designed to ensure patients and their families feel informed, supported and connected throughout every step of that journey. The program also provides evaluation for both deceased and living donor kidney transplantation. Individuals with end-stage kidney disease or advanced chronic kidney disease who are interested in learning more about transplantation are encouraged to speak with their physician or contact the OhioHealth Kidney Transplant Program directly.
