Salesforce specialist Merkle Aotearoa is returning to its roots, reverting to the Davanti Consulting name four years after adopting the Merkle brand.
This follows its acquisition by US-based investment firm Enduring Ventures and the reunification of Merkle’s Salesforce practices across New Zealand and Australia.
In May, Enduring Ventures signed a definitive agreement with Dentsu to acquire Merkle Aotearoa and Merkle Australia’s Salesforce business.
Dentsu has owned Davanti since 2019, and the transaction was completed on 30 June, explained the consultancy’s Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) managing director, Paul Whittaker.
We [then] needed time to set ourselves up and go through the rebrand,” he told Reseller News.
