The Worcester community has been sharing its "heartbreak" after a 34-year-old woman, named locally as Ally, was found unresponsive in Cripplegate Park yesterday (Thursday). Previously, a spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Officers were called to a report of a woman unresponsive in Cripplegate Park in Worcester around 7.05am this morning (October 2). The review concluded on Friday (October 3) that no professional standards had been breached. Emergency services were called early on Thursday morning (October 2) after reports of a body in Cripplegate Park. A cordon was in place at both the Hylton Road entrance and Tybridge Street entrance to Cripplegate Park to guard the scene.
