RCMP investigate vandalism after three Fort McMurray bus shelters damaged

RCMP say that the shelters were "heavily damaged" leaving heaps of shattered glass on sidewalksMore than $2,700 in damage was caused after vandals shattered the glass walls of three transit bus shelters in Fort McMurray early Monday morning.
Article contentMunicipal officials estimate repairs will cost about $900 per shelter, each of which are located at Sparrowhawk and Killdeer Way (bus stop #7024), Brett Drive and Blanchett Drive (bus stop #7058), and Eagle Ridge Gate and Sandpiper Road (bus stop #7032).
In a release, police said the shelters were “heavily damaged,” leaving shattered glass on sidewalks.
As part of their ongoing investigation, the RCMP is asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has surveillance footage near the damaged shelters to contact police.
