RELX H1 2026 Trading Update: Exhibitions Underlying Revenue Up 6% as Group Reaffirms Outlook

Group-wide, revenue was £4,871m (about $6,498m), up 7% on an underlying basis, with adjusted operating profit of £1,727m (about $2,304m), up 9% underlying.
Underlying adjusted operating profit grew 2% and the adjusted operating margin was 39.3% (40.3% a year earlier) RELX noted “good progress on value‑enhancing digital initiatives,” with increased usage of digital tools by exhibitors and attendees at face‑to‑face events.
The July results quantify that guidance: Exhibitions underlying revenue grew 6% in H1, consistent with the “strong” underlying growth signaled in April, while reported revenue and margin reflect cycling/timing impacts.
RELX reiterated that, aside from uncertainty around remaining Middle East events, it expects strong underlying revenue growth for Exhibitions and an improvement in full‑year adjusted operating margin over 2025.
