RCMP are investigating the death of a man who was caught in a tractor fire on a rural property north of Kelowna, B.C., on Wednesday. Police say they believe the man was towing a baler with a tractor on a property in the 1300 block of Trinity Valley Road, near Lumby, when the machinery caught fire. "Tragically, the man was unable to escape the fire and was found deceased close to the burnt-out tractor and baler," said RCMP Cst. Wildfire Service worked to keep the fire from reaching a house on the farm, before the local fire department arrived, according to RCMP. The fire is now listed as under control by the wildfire service, and is sitting at 6.75 hectares in size.
