A 54-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of assault after police were called to the property on the Skipperstone Road last week. Police say further tests are required to determine the cause of a woman’s sudden death in Bangor last week. Officers had been called to a property in the Skipperstone Road area around 2am on Tuesday, July 14, where the 44-year-old woman was found unresponsive. A 54-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault but was later released on police bail to allow for further enquiries. A PSNI spokesperson said a post mortem examination has taken place, but “further tests by the pathologist are required to support and inform the investigative process.”
