Whoever is planning this is either a wizard, about to introduce some type of new warfare or this is lining up to be a long slog if the reports are true. Starting to see this all over Twitter. The reports of F-35s flying over Venezuela are coming from that govt and also a few sites on X. I haven't seen any indication that any other US unit (Army or Marines is prepping for deployment). You could air drop/ship the 82nd into a port or an airfield...even a bunch of Special Ops units if you want to be flashy, though I'm sure they'd prefer covert insertion, but getting anything other than light infantry will be problematic.
