Beerwah Bar seeks relief for flood victims

Budgam: The Bar Association Beerwah has urged the Jammu & Kashmir Government to provide adequate compensation and immediate rehabilitation to shopkeepers whose businesses were devastated after flash floods damaged a shopping complex in Beerwah town.
Speaking to reporters, Advocate Bilal Ahmad Rather, President of the Bar Association Beerwah, said the tragedy has deprived more than 32 families of their only source of livelihood, pushing them into severe financial distress.
He also demanded that adequate compensation be provided to all flood-affected victims to help them rebuild their lives and protect their families from further hardship.
"The Bar Association stands with the people of Beerwah during this difficult time and assures all affected families of its full legal and moral support.
The Bar Association Beerwah also appealed to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Deputy Commissioner Budgam, and MLA Beerwah Dr. Shafi Ahmad Wani to take immediate and effective measures on a priority basis to ensure timely rehabilitation, fair compensation, and justice for all the affected victims.
