This month, Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram, announced it will build its first Canadian data centre in Sturgeon County. At more than $13 billion, it’s one of the largest capital investments in Canadian history, and it’s happening right here in our backyard. We take Alberta natural gas and refine it into electricity.
