After selling out the entire stock in 11 minutes in March, the US Mint's commemorative Steve Jobs coin was briefly back on sale on Thursday.
It still only vaguely looks like Steve Jobs, but it's intended to be him and to commemorate American innovation.
The coins still feature "a young Steve Jobs sitting in front of a quintessentially northern California landscape of oak-covered rolling hills."
This $1 coin is inscribed with "United States of America," "California," and also both "Steve Jobs" and "Make Something Wonderful."
Clearly, then, the US Mint expected the Steve Jobs coin to sell more than previous ones.
