But Laura Pettman, the daughter of Kitty's aunt Lady Jane Fellowes, was spotted chatting to Lady Kitty’s step-sister Lady Lara Spencer (the daughter of her father and his second wife, Caroline Freud). Yet it also clearly has echoes of the dress worn by her own mother, Victoria Aitken (née Lockwood), when she married Lady Kitty's father, Earl Spencer, in 1989. The most obvious similarities between Lady Kitty and her mother’s dresses is the button-down fronts, as well as the high neckline and puff sleeves.
