MJF hasn’t been on AEW TV since he lost the World Title to Kenny Omega earlier this month, and Tony Khan has provided an update on the former champion. Khan was asked for an update on MJF during the media call promoting this weekend’s AEW Redemption, where Omega will defend the World Title against Kevin Knight. Khan noted that MJF had been working through some major injuries and should be back soon. On MJF’s Injury Status:“In the case of MJF, he’s somebody that I hope is wrestling for decades and decades at a top level. I’m looking forward to his return to AEW when he’s back, which he will be back, very soon, I’m sure.
