Plaxico Burress had one of the better wide receiver careers in New York Giants history, and NFL insider Jeremy Fowler of ESPN sees "shades of Plaxico" in one healthy Giants wideout. That's Giants rookie Malachi Fields, a third-round pick from Notre Dame in this year's draft. Fields has a golden opportunity to make a niche for himself with the Giants as Malik Nabers returns from injury. Fowler noted the "Giants (are) highly impressed with him so far" and that his style resembles Burress. Burress helped the 2007 Giants team win the Super Bowl against a formerly 18-0 New England Patriots squad.
