Every Batman series eventually has to introduce the Joker. Fans have been wondering when Gotham's Clown Prince of Crime would finally show up in Batman: Caped Crusader, and it turns out the creative team has been intentionally making everyone wait. “I love delaying Joker as long as possible for people,” Tucker says, pointing to his previous Bat show, Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Instead, Tucker says the creative team looked much further back for inspiration. The creative team appears to be applying the same philosophy across the entire series.
