About the Darren Daulton FoundationThe foundation was created after the passing of the former Phillies catcher, who was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in 2013, to support individuals and families battling brain cancer. Daulton passed after a long battle on August 6, 2017, but the foundation has lived on, helping raise over $500,000 with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Darren Daulton Foundation. Daulton was the leader of the Phillies team in the early 1990s, including the National League Champion 1993 team that lost to the Blue Jays in the World Series. Daulton was a three-time National League All-Star, led the National League in RBI in 1992, and won a World Series with the Florida Marlins in 1997. Joe Pops is located at 2002 Long Beach Blvd, in Ship Bottom on Long Beach Island.
