A man, aged in his 40s, has been airlifted to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin for treatment of serious injuries following a crash on the M9 in Carlow. The crash, which involved a tractor and a car, happened this morning just after 7:00 am. Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene, which happened on the M9 Southbound at Junction 6, Ballybannon, Co. Carlow. No other injuries have been reported, and the road has since reopened.
