To support their claims, employees at Brilliant Minds falsified client notes that Dayib Ali submitted.
Prosecutors said that Brilliant Minds became one of the 10 highest-billing providers for the housing program in 2024.
The housing program, a first-of-its kind in the country due to its use of Medicaid funds, was shuttered in October in the wake of widespread fraud reports.
Prosecutors said Dayib Ali should receive a prison sentence ranging from 2¾ years in prison to just under 3½ years.
Dayib Ali remains free on bond as he awaits sentencing, which has not yet been scheduled.
