Despite finishing in the green, the indices dropped during the afternoon session, after hitting an intraday high of 8926.30. This hawkish RBA repricing — which comes ahead of next Wednesday's June quarter inflation numbers — led to the ASX 200 trimming around 65 points of its early gains.
