LOUISIANA - If you've recently picked up eggs at a grocery store, you may want to take a quick look at the carton before making breakfast.
A massive egg recall involving nearly 1.6 million dozen eggs, that's more than 19 million individual eggs, has been announced after concerns about possible Salmonella Enteritidis contamination.
The recall affects eggs that were sold in Louisiana and several other states.
According to the recall, the eggs were also available at 'other smaller retail outlets.'"
If you have eggs that match the recalled product information, the FDA recommends not eating them.
