Manchester is planning a full day of community activities to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. The Manchester Historical Society will host the celebration on Saturday, August 15, with events taking place at several locations around town. An opening ceremony will follow at the Manchester Town Office from 10 to 11 a.m. Cub Scouts will lead the Pledge of Allegiance, while Carolyn Van Horn will perform the national anthem.
