Vice Chairperson of the Okavango District Council, Brian Samoka, told Gabz FM News that the funds will cover most of the outstanding payments. He said the majority of Ipelegeng workers, including those near the Gumare headquarters and in remote areas of the district are expected to start receiving their wages by the end of the week. The development follows a boycott by councilors, who walked out of a scheduled council session in protest over the four-month delay.
